Efficient CNC systems on show from Siemens at MACH 2014

Siemens and KUKA Roboter GmbH announced their cooperation at EMO in Hannover in September 2013, as such Siemens will be joined by KUKA demonstrating the KUKA KR16 with SINUMERIK 840D. The aim of the cooperation is to be better able to serve industries with high-end automation requirements in loading and machining. With the shared development, customers will have access to new products and systems that are coordinated optimally over their entire life cycle, from design, to production simulation, to engineering and the production shop level.

Visitors to the stand will be able to see CNCs being demonstrated live on the XYZ CT 52 LTY and the YAMAZAKI MAZAK VARIAXIS i500 and discover the advantages of using SINUMERIK CNC range including easy-to-use graphic assist programming with 3D simulation and increased flexibility.

In addition, Siemens Product Lifecycle Management will showcase offerings from its portfolio including NX CAM, and simulation for robotics. This includes the simulation and off-line programming of the KUKA KR16 / Sinumerik 840D system.
