Eldon says its recently introduced MultiK series floor-standing enclosures, which are developed from the company's proven MultiFlex platform, are excellent for machine builders and system integrators.
As the one-piece version of the MultiFlex enclosure, the MultiK is described as a combination of simplicity and user-friendly design. A broad choice of styles, sizes and materials is available: single- and double-door; heights of 1200-2000mm; widths of 600-1000mm (single-door) or 1200-1600mm (double-door); and powder-coated mild steel, AISI 304 pre-grained stainless steel or AISI 316L stainless steel.
The MultiK is protected to IP66, NEMA 4, 12, 13 (IP55, Nema 12, 13 for double-door version) and it is customisable through its compatibility with the MultiFlex accessories platform. MultiK also offers high-level functionality. Its ingress protection and versatility make it a good choice for demanding machine building and system integration applications in a host of industrial uses.
Other notable features include: frames that are rolled, folded and seam-welded from 1.5mm steel to achieve high stiffness; 2mm steel doors; four concealed hinges per door for 130-degree opening (180-degree opening is offered as an option); doors that can be hung to open from the left or right on the front or rear of the enclosure; one-man door removal and replacement; four self-positioning locking points for even pressure on the seal; 25mm mounting hole patterns in the frame and door; and a 2.7mm galvanised steel mounting plate.
