Eley Metrology to exhibit at Southern Manufacturing

Eley is the exclusive UK distributor for the De Meet range of non-contact optical measuring machines. Eley also manufactures the Micro Vertex, which the company claims is Britain's best selling height gauge, and through the acquisition of Crown Windley, Eley can now offer an extensive range of high-quality granite and cast iron surface plates and standards

Leading companies in the automotive, mechanical engineering and aircraft industries, as well as manufacturers of electronic and plastic components, rely on quality made by Eley. Product lines range from horizontal-arm and bridge-type co-ordinate measuring machines (CMMs) to large gantry machines and the innovative LBM (long bore machine). Eley also writes its own CMM software (True Measure and True Shape)

Eley operates from a purpose-built Technology Centre in Derby, England. This covers manufacture, demonstration, applications, service and calibration requirements. The demonstration room features CMMs, height gauges and De Meet video machines, all with the latest technology. Also on site is a dedicated Contract Measurement facility where specialists are available to provide CMM measuring solutions, and a UKAS-accredited calibration laboratory.

Eley is active in providing CMM retrofits to both Eley and non-Eley CMM users, offering the benefits of Eley's software products True Measure and True Shape. Recent developments in the market mean that cost-effective retrofits are now available to bring new life to older CMMs at a fraction of the cost of a new machine.
