Eriks acquires Danish manufacturer of valves and level gauges
Eriks has acquired Dansk Ventil Center A/S and DVC International ApS (DVC), which develop heavy-duty level gauges, butterfly valves and check valves for specialist markets such as pharmaceuticals, pneumatics, power generation and automation, aimed mainly at OEMs.
This acquisition will provide Eriks with strategic access not only to the Danish industrial valve market, but also to a number of large industrial equipment manufacturers elsewhere. DVC will be part of the Eriks Scandinavia cluster, combining it with Valtor Offshore in Esbjerg, a Danish market leader in valve supply to the offshore industry, which was acquired by Eriks in December 2010.
