ERIKS launches new marine capability
ERIKS UK is launching a new marine capability offering a comprehensive service of component supply, repair and replacement of equipment and parts for all types of vessels and port facilities. ERIKS Marine will provide a repair and replacement parts service from the stem to stern on a vessel, including thrusters and deck cranes through to control panels, bearings, pumps, hydraulics, deck machinery, generators, alternators and winches.
This new service will be primarily be delivered by seven branches around the UK, each with a marine specialism, and will also be capable of urgent delivery of components to remote global locations. Alongside component supply, ERIKS Marine will also offer engineering resources and technical expertise for all types of marine entities from all vessel types, including ferries, fishing vessels and of course deep sea ships, shipbuilders and repair yards, work boat operators and port facilities.
In addition, ERIKS Marine will also provide a comprehensive condition-based maintenance (CBM) service, delivered by trained technicians with extensive marine experience, to ensure vessels and equipment achieve minimum downtime and maximum TBO. CBM can also form part of a reliability-based maintenance strategy and predictive maintenance.
ERIKS Marine is the only UK accredited "SKF expert in marin", using only SEC-accredited marine engineers and works within IACS guidelines and also SOLAS, IMO and MARPOL standards and regulations.
