ESAB launches new Origo Mag machines for MIG/MAG welding
ESAB's Origo Mag C171, C201 and C251 units are high-quality, all-in-one power sources for MIG/MAG welding needs in repair shops and other light production and repair applications.
Operator-friendly controls such as multi-step voltage switches and potentiometers for wire speed adjustment make it fast and easy to set welding parameters.
Units come with a built-in wire feeder and can be used with conventional solid wire or self-shielding cored wire to weld steel, stainless steel and aluminium and handle MIG brazing. It is possible to adjust burnback time and to set spot-weld time in all three Origo Mag models.
A Power Smoothing Device provides smooth welding current, comparable with that of a 3-phase powered machine, and gives excellent performance in CO2 and gas mixtures. Options include V/A digital meter and a transformer for a CO2 heater.
Each machine comes with an ergonomically designed, gas-cooled MXL torch with three gas nozzles for flexibility of use. Fan cooling and overload protection ensure a long life for the Origo Mag units.
