ESPEC LHU-123 constant temperature and humidity chamber

This versatile chamber has a wide temperature range of -20 to +85degC (+/-0.5degC) and a relative humidity range of 40 to 95 per cent RH (+/-3 per cent). The highly efficient refrigerating system and high-quality thermal insulation create a stable chamber environment with a temperature and humidity uniformity of +/-2degC and +/-6 per cent, yet current consumption is just 11.7A.

The intuitive control panel is situated beneath the access door. Program operation can be constant or controlled via the installed instrumentation. Up to nine steps per pattern can be programmed, and the ramp time can be specified for each step. The digital display shows conditions and remaining time. The LHU-123's control system reduces the maximum current during operation, thereby lowering the power required.

Unitemp explains that the humidifier is a sheathed heater, while the refrigeration unit is a mechanical air-cooled system using eco-friendly R404A refrigerant. The stainless steel interior has a loading capacity of 206 litres and internal dimensions of 500 x 750 x 590mm (WxHxD).

Safety features include a leakage breaker for the power supply, a boil dry protector, upper/lower temperature and humidity alarms, and a watchdog timer. Optional extras include a specimen power supply control terminal, inner glass door and castors.
