Exhibition premier: NORD at Tire Technology 2018

The drive specialist from Bargteheide now wants to provide its expertise and innovative strength, as well as its technical know-how to the tyre industry. Jrg Niermann, head of the Marketing department for the NORD DRIVESYSTEMS Group says: "We have many years' experience in intralogistics and many other industries. Offering our solutions to the tyre industry is the next logical step."
Because of this, from 20 to 22 February, NORD will be exhibiting at the Tire Technology in Hannover, Europe's most important exhibition and conference for tyre production technologies. Niermann notes: "As a system provider for intelligent solutions we offer everything from a single source, from planning and production up to servicing. Our drives feature a long service life, low maintenance, a high depth of production as well as the highest possible efficiency - features from which the tyre industry also benefits. We are one of the few manufacturers who also produces extruder flanges."
NORD already has experience in the field of rubber production. NORD developed the drive for a new calendar machine for a well-known US American supplier of conveyor belts for industry and agriculture - a major technical challenge, because the project required a completely novel drive concept.
