Expandable PCs for harsh factory automation applications

IBASE Technology is launching a series of expandable Panel PCs powered by 6th Generation Intel Core processors and available in 15-inch (IPPC1505-RE), 17-inch (IPPC1705-RE), and 19-inch (IPPC1905-RE) touchscreen displays. These fanless units come with state-of-the-art features, combining connectivity with flexible I/O and high reliability for factory automation, machine automation and other applications in harsh indoor environments.

These multi-function panel PCs are designed for easy construction and integration into existing systems while providing a rich set of I/O interfaces with 2 gigabit Ethernet that supports EtherCAT master, six USB 3.0, one RS232/422/485, and one USB 2.0 port at the front bezel. Current models are installed with an Intel Core i7-6822EQ, Intel Core i5-6442EQ or Intel Core i3-6102E processor and 4GB of system memory, expandable to 32GB. Expansion comes in the form of two PCI-E x8, an M.2 M Key, and a mini PCI-E slot.

The panel computers are protected to IP65 on the front side and uses VESA panel mounting. Built with a 64GB SSD drive, it supports an operating temperature of up to 50C and power input of 12V/24V DC. Other advanced features include a 4-in/4-out digital I/O and IBASE's iSMART green technology with EuP/Erp power saving, auto power on/off scheduler and power resume functions.
