Experience, learn and network at NIDays 2016

Across the month of November, NIDays will be inspiring and stimulating the minds of people across Northern Europe, helping scientists and engineers solve some of their toughest challenges. The NIDays conference will provide the ultimate learning environment; with hands-on sessions, previews of new technologies, technical demonstrations and keynotes from industry leaders and NI experts.

Experience, learn and network at NIDays 2016

The Keynotes give those in attendance a first look at the innovation that is driving industries and changing lives. This year, three important themes will be explored with the aim to inform on the present state of industries and inspire for the future:

1. Impacting Today's Business

The Internet of Things (IoT) and Big Analogue Data are no longer just trends, but are fast becoming a reality. We will present some of these new applications, trends and technologies and show how these key themes are already influencing our business and economy today.

2. We are accelerating discovery in Engineering Education and Research. Are you keeping up?

The IoT is having a profound effect on product design, manufacturing, infrastructure and even education. Hear from NI leaders, partners and customers on why the rate of discovery matters in our innovation-driven world and how professionals and students alike can solve problems and build systems faster than ever before.

3. Engineering Education and the Path of Discovery

Today's students will need to design complex systems, work effectively across multiple domains and integrate new technologies the world has never seen. Join us to learn how the engineering laboratory continues to change and how NI is enabling the path of discovery for students and researchers to learn.

Whatever your field of interest, NIDays has a vast array of sessions allowing you to tailor your day. You can choose from topics including Automated Test, Control and Embedded design, Data Acquisition and Software Development plus many more.

NIDays hands-on sessions provide invaluable experience with NI technologies including LabVIEW, CompactRIO, PXI and TestStand. In addition, LabVIEW users can start their certification journey via the Certified LabVIEW Associate Developer Exam Preparation Class.

At NIDays London, Maxime Lecuona from Jaguar Land Rover will be discussing the creation of an innovative infrastructure for Test Data Management and will explain how they came to inspect, analyse and report on data 20 times faster than previous methods. Amanda Waterman & Peter Culmer from the University of Leeds and Earle Jamieson from ReSolve Research Engineering will be joining us to provide an overview of their 20,000-person strong research project into motor and cognitive skills of children called Kinelab.

As well as these presentations, several other customers and partners of NI will be taking the stage and demonstrating their engineering feats across the event to provide insight into how NI is shaping their business and projects for the better.
