Nexcom IPPC 1960T is a fanless heavy industrial Panel PC designed to work in harsh operating conditions. The all-in-one IPPC 1960T features the 3rd generation Intel Core i5-3610ME processor, a 19" SXGA 4:3 LCD industrial touch display, various expansion and industrial fieldbus interfaces, robust metal chassis and an IP66-rated aluminium front panel. With the same cut-out size as SIMATIC Panel PC, the IPPC 1960T offers premium features and cost advantages for the application in target markets such as energy, mining, chemical and steel industries
The heavy industrial Panel PC} IPPC 1960T features the 3rd generation Intel Core i5-3610ME processor, integrated Intel HD Graphics, and up to 8GB of DDR3 1333/1066 memory. The IPPC 1960T delivers high system responsiveness and is therefore suitable for use as a control console within chemical plants, steel mills to offshore wind farms.
Designed for use in harsh environments, the IPPC 1960T is encased in a fanless metal chassis and has an IP66-rated aluminium front bezel to provide protection against airborne dust, chemical substances and water ingress, even when the USB port located in the front side of the Panel PC is not covered. Also the fanless IPPC 1960T enhances reliability, the utmost concern of SCADA and control applications, and helps create a noise-free control room by removing consumable fans to ensure 24/7 non-stop operation.
Nexcom's IPPC 1960T offers an array of I/O and COM ports with either isolated protection or inline power support. The heavy industrial Panel PC also provides two mini-PCIe slots for expansions of 3G and Wi-Fi and Fieldbus, including EtherCAT, PROFINET, PROFIBUS, DeviceNet, and EtherNet/IP. Two PCI slots are available for expansions of data acquisition, motion control and video capture functions.
The IPPC 1960T has the same cutout size as SIMATIC Panel PC yet is more functional, offering a cost-efficient alternative for systems in need of replacement or upgrade.
