This one-day course is to introduce delegates to, and give an overview of, EN 60204-1, Safety of machinery. Electrical equipment of machines. General requirements. In addition, the course covers:

• Safety Concept ISO 13849
• Safety Concept IEC 62061
• Incorporating EN ISO 14119

Anyone involved in panel design/build or electrical control systems, machinery refurbishment/upgrade, as well as industrial electrical systems installers will be able to use their new knowledge of EN 60204-1 to build or refurbish machinery control systems to a level that meets the standards.

At the end of the course, delegates will:

• Understand why the use of the EN standards is important for safety and compliance
