Paul Laidler of Laidler Associates, a division of TUV SUD Product Service, will deliver a free legislation update at the PPMA Show 2011, which takes place from 27-29 September at the Birmingham NEC. This presentation will highlight the impact that the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC has already had - and will continue to have - on machine builders and end-users. Furthermore, it will explain how new technology is now driving the evolution of the Machinery Directive.
Commenting on the seminar content, Paul Laidler says: "The topic of how the Machinery Directive affects manufacturers and end-users is made even more important with the constant and frequent introduction of new technology. Couple this with the fact that there is still a huge of amount of confusion and a grave lack of knowledge surrounding the Machinery Directive and it is clear that there is the need for further education."
The PPMA Show is described as the UK's leading processing and packaging machinery exhibition, providing an opportunity to view, evaluate and purchase the very best in equipment and technologies to improve productivity and profitability.
