The Profibus Group is organising two free training days that will cover PROFIBUS, PROFINET, IO-Link and IIoT. These events are taking place in Wrexham on 26 September and Cambridge on 11 October 2017.
With particular emphasis on Industry 4.0 and the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), the events will be useful for engineers and managers working in application areas such as factory automation, robotics, packaging, printing, utilities, pharmaceuticals, electrical and electronics assembly, pulp and paper, automotive engineering, mechanical handling and logistics, control systems and energy management. Topics range from system design and safety considerations, through to maintenance and fault-finding. The focus will be on the practical aspects of using PROFIBUS, PROFINET and IO-Link, from system design and safety considerations, through to fault-finding and maintenance.
Supported by demonstrations of actual tools used in configuration and maintenance, the seminar will be of value to designers, production/system engineers, instrument technicians/engineers and C&I (control and instrumentation) engineers involved in design, operation and maintenance of modern automated factories and process plant.
Presentations will be made by specialists from member companies of PI UK, the not-for-profit trade association dedicated to supporting advanced manufacturing technologies for the benefit of UK industry. Attendance is free of charge to pre-registered delegates from the User community, ie companies that own, operate, design, build or maintain automated plant. The event will provide delegates with an excellent networking opportunity and the ability to speak to experts from PI UK.Follow the link to see the agenda and find out more about the PROFIBUS, PROFINET and IO-Link training in Wrexham and Cambridge.
