Gas Equipment Inspectors training courses in 2012
Dates for City & Guilds Accredited Gas Equipment Inspectors training courses during 2012 have been announced by Murex Welding Products. The Certification and Recertification courses are designed for safety officers, maintenance staff, supervisors, technical college and school staff as well as anyone else responsible for the safety aspects of oxy-fuel gas systems.
All the two-day Certification courses are conducted at the company's Waltham Cross facilities. They provide qualifications that permit individuals to conduct full safety checks on oxy-fuel gas welding systems. The first part of the course covers theoretical instruction on oxy-fuel gas safety, the properties of gases, safe use and operation of systems. The second day is devoted to practical training and hands-on sessions that teach candidates how to test an oxy-fuel gas station and pass it off for safe use. The cost is 515 + VAT.
Certification course dates for 2012 are:

- 21/22 March
- 23/24 May
- 19/20 September
- 14/15 November
