Parvalux has supplied its geared motors for use in a candyfloss vending machine.
Parvalux describes itself as a staunch supporter of the entrepreneurial spirit, particularly when entrepreneurs select Parvalux products to go into theirs. The company is proud to offer inventors and product developers prototypes and sample products to aid the invention process, stepping in to design and customise entire sub-assemblies if necessary to help realise the desired end product.
This means Parvalux often sells a single geared unit to someone with a bright idea, and then celebrates with them, sometimes months or even years later, when their product becomes a success (or, indeed, share in their disappointment when it does not succeed). Parvalux takes the view that it is the value of its customers' future business that is important, which means supporting their innovation and ideas and not just making a sale.
As an example of this support for the entrepreneurial spirit, Parvalux is wishing David Hawthorne and the team at Intermatic Manufacturing in Northern Ireland the very best of luck with their innovative Candyfloss vending machine. In particular, David is taking part in a new BBC reality television show in Northern Ireland called Chasing the Dollar, to try and win a place on an entrepreneurs' business 'boot-camp' in America. Hawthorne got through the first round in the episode aired on 2 November 2008, so it is hoped that he will be successful.
The show is broadcast on BBC2 at 17:00 (Northern Ireland only) and nationally on SKY channel 969.
