Harting to showcase products for rail industry at Infrarail 2016
Harting will feature a range of infrastructure and connectivity products for the rail industry at Infrarail 2016. Key products on show will include the M12 push pull range of robust circular connectors, Han Modular heavy-duty connectors, customised inter-car jumper cables, and high-speed backplane products.
The major development of inter-car jumper cables assemblies from Harting provide sufficient bandwidth to allow future expansion. Using Harting Han HPR"connectors with ground disconnect, these products provide full 10Gbit/s transmission tested to IEEE 802.3 using CAT 7 cables. They are compliant with fire regulation EN 45545 - 1, 2 & 5 and EN 50155:2007 to ensure reliable application on rolling stock, and offer excellent IP68 and IP69K sealing capability. HARTING connectors also carry IRIS certification to meet the stringent demands of the rail industry.
