Harwin signs Lacon as German distributor
Harwin is appointing Lacon as its German distributor to help drive increased market penetration in the region. Lacon has over 30 years' experience in high value-added distribution services and carries over 100,000 product lines from European manufacturers. Initially, Lacon will stock Harwin's well-known hi-rel connector ranges, including Datamate high-performance/high reliability connectors featuring proprietary 4-finger Beryllium Copper contact technology and the award-winning Harwin Gecko range of 1.25mm hi-rel connectors. Other hi-rel connector ranges to be stocked by Lacon include Harwin's RoHS-compliant circular interconnects to MIL-DTL-5015 (MIL-C-5015).
In addition to Harwin's hi-rel connector ranges, Lacon will also distribute its EZ-Boardware products, which are designed to make PCB production processes earlier and faster, increase design flexibility and reduce manufacturing costs. The surface mount components are supplied on tape and reel for fully automated assembly and include EZ-Shield Clips and Cans for RFI/EMI shielding, EZ-Spring Contacts, EZ-Links (SMT jumper links), EZ-Cable Clips, EZ-Test Points, EZ-Coin Cell Battery holders and EZ-PEB sockets.
