HBM releases catmanAP v3.2 for data acquisition and analysis
HBM is releasing catmanAP v2.3, which features numerous new functions to simplify the setting up, acquisition, display and analysis of measured values from HBM amplifier systems without the need for programming.
The software automatically suggests suitable sensor types when setting up a measurement channel, and the latest version of catmanAP supports HBM's new espressoDAQ measurement technology hardware, as well as the latest QuantumX system modules. Two new export formats for saving data in MATLAB and RPC III formats are also included.
Another feature is the ability to synchronise distributed systems via NTP time stamping. This means that spatially distributed QuantumX modules and even hybrid systems - in particular, the QuantumX and MGCplus standard amplifier systems - can easily be synchronised.
In NTP synchronisation, the devices are connected in a star configuration via standard Ethernet network cables and synchronised via an NTP server. NTP synchronisation can always be used where synchronisation via hardware (sync-cable) is not possible and where a synchronicity of approximately 1ms is sufficient.
