Heavy-duty castors available in a choice of configurations
Elesa's new industrial castor range now incorporates the RE.F5 heavy-duty castor for light, medium and heavy loads over 750kg. It is suitable for use on tiles, asphalt and cement/resin floors, where its rugged, diecast aluminium wheels, roller bearing axle and 95 Shore A polyurethane wheels provide excellent performance and low rolling resistance. Applications include trolleys, machinery and other mobile equipment in all types of industrial environments, including production, machining, transport, distribution and storage.
The RE.F5 castors are available with fixed plate, swivel plate and a total lock swivel chassis in which the swivel mechanism incorporates a dual ball race for minimal turn loads at low speeds. Standard rugged chassis construction is of zinc-plated steel, which, combined with its other features, ensures the castor provides excellent performance with a high degree of longevity throughout its -20 to +80degC operating temperature range.
Other notable design features include optimal dimensions which ensure the RE.F5 occupies minimal space yet remains easy to activate. Sizes available range from 80mm to 200mm diameter wheels, with dynamic load capacities up to 7500N for complete castors.
