For over a decade, HepcoMotion has supported CRUK's fight against cancer. Each year, the company participates in over 20 exhibitions across Europe and the UK, donating 5 to CRUK for every business card collected.
In addition, 5 is contributed for every customer who completes a customer service survey. Even the Christmas cards play a role; HepcoMotion creates personalised cards in-house and donates the equivalent cost to CRUK instead of purchasing traditional cards. Gervase Forster, President of HepcoMotion, personally initiated these schemes to ensure ongoing support for CRUK. Thanks to these initiatives, a total of 23,680 was donated in 2024 alone.
Cancer Research UK's fundraising spokesperson for Devon, Kim Hammerton, says: "We're fighting over 200 types of cancer and the unwavering support of HepcoMotion has helped drive forward research that is unlocking new and better ways to beat it.
"Every day we see the benefits of work the charity has previously funded being realised, with new clinical trials opening and breakthroughs being reported. We want to say a heartfelt thank you to HepcoMotion for the incredible part they have played in our progress."
HepcoMotion's Chairman, Giles Forster, comments: "At HepcoMotion, our annual contributions to Cancer Research UK reflect our commitment to making a real difference. This year, we're donating 23,680 to help CRUK speed up progress against cancer - it's our way of investing in a future where cancer isn't a burden."
For over 120 years, Cancer Research UK has been at the forefront of cancer research. From proving the link between tobacco and cancer to being a key player in the development of radiotherapy, the charity's discoveries have saved countless lives and benefit millions of people around the world each year.
