Sugatsune is introducing a range of high-quality glass door hinges that are also suitable for electrical panels or covers and for use with audio video equipment
The hinges come as inset (GH450) or half overlay (GH456) versions, or there is a model that attaches a glass door to a glass cabinet (GH450G). The finishes are of an impressive quality, with a choice of mirror chrome, satin nickel or gold.
As would be expected of Sugatsune, the engineering is a high quality. Brass castings make up the body of the hinge, with substantial screws and bushings ensuring long and safe operation with doors weighing up to 15kg and measuring a maximum of 600mm wide.
Using the supplied polypropylene spacers, the hinges can be used with glass 5-8mm thick and 2mm of vertical and horizontal adjustment ensures the doors can be aligned properly.
The GH450 and GH456 hinges come with an optional plastic detent to keep the door closed so that there is no need for a separate catch.
Sugatsune stocks a wide range of hinges in the UK, many in stainless steel or with special features such as detents, torque, lift-off, clean room, concealed and adjustable. Many can be seen and bought via the company's website.
