HP appoints RPS as UK channel partner for 3D printing

HP has appointed RP Support Limited (RPS) as a UK channel partner for its 3D printing technology. RPS, currently celebrating its 10-year anniversary, will sell and service the HP Jet Fusion range of 3D printers and accessories to all industry sectors across the region.

RPS has grown strongly over the last 10 years from being a reliable partner in supplying materials, equipment and service contracts to now employing 22 people and building and selling its own production stereolithography system, the NEO800. Additionally, RPS has developed key partnerships with ALM for a range of laser sintering materials, DSM Somos for SL materials, Markforged, as a value-added partner for its carbon fibre, desktop 3D printers, and now most recently with HP as a leading channel partner for its end-to-end production system, the HP Jet Fusion 3D printing systems.

The HP Multi Jet Fusion comprises the HP Jet Fusion 3D 4200/3200 Printer and Processing Station with Fast Cooling, which was launched by HP in May 2016. It offers outstanding, reproducible part quality and, with high-speed productivity coupled with lowest cost-per-part, it opens the door to short-run digital manufacturing of thermoplastic parts.

Andrew Knowles, Business Manager for HP 3D Multi Jet Fusion for UK and Ireland, comments: "We are extremely pleased to introduce RPS as one of our new channel partners. They have an excellent reputation in the 3D printing industry, as well as a strong knowledge of how our HP 3D printing technology will bring best-in-class performance to both individual customers and within new markets."

The HP Jet Fusion 3D printing system will be exhibited by RPS at the TCT Show, NEC, Birmingham on 26-28 September 2017.
