Hydraulic brakes mount on ISO 6431 cylinders
Metal Work UK is introducing a closed-loop hydraulic brake for mounting on ISO 6431 pneumatic cylinders. The brake unit comprises an oil-filled cylinder, one or two flow regulators and a top-up tank to compensate for any loss of oil.
Versions are available with speed control in the thrust or retract directions, and there are options for a skip (slow-fast) valve, stop valve or both.
Maximum load capacity is 6000N for the standard version or 5000N for versions with valves fitted. Speed can be controlled from 10-6000mm/min. Standard stroke lengths range from 50-500mm in 50mm increments; non-standard stroke lengths up to 1000mm can be specified.
