Hydre-MAC radial piston motors available in more displacements
Eaton is augmenting its Hydre-MAC range of low-speed, high-torque (LSHT) direct drive radial piston motors with additional models to cover standard displacements from 13 to 50 litres per revolution. The Hydre-MAC sets the standard for power, performance and reliability and is suitable for a variety of applications, including offshore, marine, mining, and pulp & paper industries, shredding plants and many other stationary applications.
Giuseppe Scozzarella, Product Manager Industrial Hydraulic Portfolio EMEA at Eaton says: "The Hydre-MAC motor portfolio offers reliable application-friendly solutions over a broad performance range. Their technical features and easy drop-in replacement for existing older motors make them very time and cost effective."
Hydre-MAC models with popular displacements are currently available from stock, and all other displacements can be shipped within just a few weeks. They are suitable for the direct, drop-in replacement of the most commonly used industrial hydraulic motors of this type and on-site installation by a trained Eaton dealer is possible in most cases.
Scozzarella explains: "This can be done at a very low cost because the shaft fittings, torque braces and other machine attachments do not have to be replaced. If control blocks are present, for example to avoid inertial damage with high shock loads, they can also be used with the new motor."
