Industrial power supplies suit Ethernet switches and automation

Harting is introducing two new families of industrial power supplies to complement its range of Ethernet switches. The pCon 7000 product family, with IP65/67 protection, is designed for distributed applications in harsh environments, while the pCon 2000 is for use in control cabinets.

The pCon 7000 product family is designed for use with control units, Ethernet devices and other automation components in industrial areas and harsh environments. Harting says they can be installed without problems in any factory in the world, in production cells or machines or on walls, columns and mounting rails.

For ease of installation, mounting sets for panels or standard DIN rails are available, while pluggable connections guarantee easy and secure assembly. The pCon 7000 is available with either M12 or Han 4 A output terminations.

The pCon 2000 power supplies are designed for use in control cabinets. These devices are characterised by a high power density with minimal losses and a termination technology that involves no screws or special tools.

Both product families offer a wide input range, a broad operating temperature range and high efficiency.
