Integrated stepper motor offers twice the performance

MDrive14Plus products integrate a NEMA size 14 brushless 1.8deg stepping motor with electronics for a compact motion control product, suitable for a wide range of applications with limited space. Measuring 2inch high x 1.4inch wide, lengths are 2inch for a single motor or 3inch for a triple motor, which also provides twice the motor holding torque at 36oz-in.

The MDrive14Plus is capable of full (256 x 200) microstepping with a +12 to +48V DC integrated driver. Excellent smoothness and performance are achieved by applying innovative techniques to control current flow through the motor so that resonance is significantly dampened over the entire speed range and audible noise reduced. Oversized input capacitors minimise power line surges, reducing problems that can occur with long cable runs and multiple drive systems. An extended operating range of -40 to +85degC provides long life, trouble-free service in demanding environments.
