Intelliconnect moves to larger factory as sales grow

Intelliconnect's move to a new 6400ft² site follows sales growth of 30% in 2020 and provides the business with the space required for an immediate increase in production as well as creating space for future expansion. Despite the challenges during 2020 Intelliconnect introduced a number of key new products, including high density connector blocks and high specification cable products. They also managed to maximise efforts in cryogenic, defence, medical and marine applications worldwide. The company says that the IoT and Industry 4.0, together with quantum computing and research were amongst key drivers in their results for 2020.

Continuous improvement in working practices during 2020 has brought accreditation to ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 for Intelliconnect, adding to its existing ISO 9001:2015 quality standard and SC21 silver performance standard for the Aerospace, Defence, Security and Space Industry Supply Chain Programme. The company is  also a member of the Living Wage Foundation.

Intelliconnect  says it is the largest UK based manufacturer of RF, microwave, waterproof and cryogenic connectors and cable harnesses: the company also manufactures the Pisces range of waterproof RF connectors, and coaxial adaptors to facilitate inter-series connection and gender change. Its recently launched cryogenic cable assembly business CryoCoax supplies a growing market for quantum computing, medical, research, test and measurement and the emerging low temperature computing markets.

Intelliconnect’s cable division is a specialist manufacturer of affordable, high quality, high frequency microwave cables including triaxial assemblies, semi-rigid, semi-flexible and cryogenic cables as well as standard RG/LMR type products.  Cables can be waterproofed to IP68 and include special features including phase matching and special assemblies for use in harsh environments.
