ITA industrial PCs certified for rolling stock applications
Advantech, is launching a series of ITA industrial PCs exclusively designed for rolling stock systems. These EN 50155 certified in-train controllers offer clients intelligent, high-performance operating platforms that can precisely manage in-train surveillance, media broadcasting and passenger information systems, all of which are applications with high demands for accuracy, dependability, and durability.
The ITA-5710 and ITA-5730 are compact, fanless, fully EN 50155-certified industrial PCs that Advantech recommends for cabin surveillance and broadcasting. Images captured by IP cameras are transmitted via network switch to NVR controllers for manager supervision. ITA-5710 and 5730 also serve as passenger information systems and support high-volume storage on interconnected media devices. Featuring Intel Atom D525 dual-core and Core i7 processors, plus an array of ruggedised M12 connectors, these units are built to meet the demands of railway use.
EN 50155, EN 45545 fully certified controllers
Advantech's ITA-5710 and ITA-5730 rolling stock systems both hold EN 50155 certification; both are designed for vibration resistance and a wide operating temperature range. The systems are certified to Category 1 Class B, ensuring reliability and sustainability in rolling stock. In terms of electromagnetic compatibility, ITA-5710 and ITA-5730 pass level 3 EMS for a high degree of safety for crew, passengers, and other electronic devices. They are equipped with ruggedised M12 connectors for I/O interfaces that assure robust data connections on operating rails. In addition to EN 50155, the rolling stock systems are also compliant with EN 45545 for proven fire resistance.
ITA-5710 and ITA-5730 both operate on 24V, 48V, 72V and 100V DC inputs, making them compatible with most DC adaptors, so the systems can be employed by a wide array of target regions. Conveniently located USB port makes software, firmware, and data updates quick and simple. Additionally, the easy-maintenance SSD/HDD bay enables convenient upgrades, optimising rolling stock systems in terms of easy access, easy assembly and easy maintenance. Easy-swap module designs including tool-free assembly make ITA-5710 and ITA-5730 excellent platforms for in-train surveillance, broadcasting and PIS.
