Item introduces flat aluminium strip and angle
When constructing modular aluminium frameworks it is often necessary to add simple flat strips, small plates, guides or brackets. These do not need the complexity of conventional aluminium profiles, hence Item is introducing flat strip and angle from which such components can be manufactured easily and cost-effectively. These are available through Machine Building Systems.
Two sizes of strip are available, 30x3mm and 60x6mm, and two sizes of angle are available, 60x30x6 and 60x60x6mm. In all cases the length is 2m and the finish is clear anodising.
Because components made from these new profiles will often be used in areas where operatives will be working, the profiles feature a radiused edge (R1.5 for the thin strip and R3 on the 6mm profiles).
