RDS and IQRF have joined forces in a new venture combining IQRF technology with RDS expertise in displays, touch panels and embedded solutions to simplify the integration of IoT edge devices. This results in a much quicker time to market for customers.
Trading as IQRF UK, the company will operate from the RDS Headquarters in Westerham, Kent and will be headed by Vladimer Sulc, of IQRF and Graham Smith and Russell Gilbert of RDS. The UK company will be run by Simon Chudoba who has been with IQRF since 2013. His vision is to make IQRF one of the key technologies for wireless low-power mesh networking in IoT applications. IQRF technology provides a platform for low-power, low-speed and low-data-volume wireless connectivity and is simple to implement. Its RF range makes it suitable for telemetry, industrial control and automation applications in buildings and cities. It can also be used with electronic equipment requiring wireless transfer, such as remote control, monitoring of remotely acquired data, or connection of multiple devices to a wireless network.
