Kanya aluminium profiles used for creating custom machine guards

Thinking Space Systems has made good use of the Kanya aluminium profile system to construct bespoke machine guards for a press.

The Kanya aluminium build system proved to be excellent for Thinking Space Systems' client Planters Clayton, which required a bespoke machine guard for a press.

This project necessitated the use of different extrusion profiles, together with hinges, locks, cover caps and reducing strips to enable the wire mesh to sit within the 8mm wide channel in the aluminium profile. The versatility of the Kanya extrusion meant that the hinges and locks could be fixed in place using nuts that slide in the 8mm channel; it was also easy to add brackets and additional fixing points to the framework.

The press guarding project is a good illustration of how the Kanya aluminium extrusion system's versatility enables custom guarding to be built with ease.

Contact Thinking Space Systems for more information about using the Kanya aluminium profile system for custom machine guarding.
