Parker Hannifin distributor Hopespare Limited has been awarded a contract that sees it supporting the significant additional demand for public transport capacity during the Olympic and Paralympic Games in London. The specialist hydraulic and pneumatic hose distributor is supplying a range of products including Parker hoses and airbrake fittings to a customised temporary bus garage located next to the West Ham United Football Ground in East London
With over 1000 additional buses operating during the Olympic and Paralympic games, the temporary facility and companies such as Hopespare are required to ensure vehicles remain on the road and provide problem-free transport of visitors to and from the games venues.
Headquartered in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, Hopespare has been a Parker distributor since it was established in 1986. As well as offering a comprehensive range of hydraulic and pneumatic stock, Hopespare utilises its considerable experience and expertise to provide assistance to its customers from initial design through to the establishing of a supply chain to support their ongoing needs.
Hopespare's Nick Willson comments: "During these exciting times and with our reliable and timely supply of Parker products we're sure we can keep London's buses, people and visitors moving during the world's second largest sporting event - The Paralympic Games, now that the hugely successful Olympics have finished."
