Knurled index plungers allow quick and accurate repositioning
WDS is launching a new range of knurled index plungers for applications that require reliable and quick fastening of moving parts. Ergonomically designed with easy-grip knurling, they can quickly be retracted and locked by simply pulling the plunger and rotating it a ¼ turn. The new product range is suitable for manually repositioning the indexed parts on jigs and adjustable assembly units where pre-determined positioning locations have been designed in.
Constructed from zinc-plated steel or stainless steel, the plungers are suitable for use in machine applications, where they will frequently be exposed to coolants and lubricant, without risk of damage. Available as standard in thread sizes between M6 and M12 with plunger diameter ranges between 3mm and 6mm, the knurled index plungers are held in stock allowing for next-day delivery in most circumstances.
