Kontron receives VDC Research’s Gold Award for vendor satisfaction

Kontron has been recognised for outstanding customer satisfaction. The company has received the Gold Vendor Satisfaction Award for IoT and Embedded Hardware technology from VDC Research.

The awards are based on feedback from VDC research participants and their direct experience with IoT and embedded technology hardware vendors.

“We are very proud to have received this Gold Award from the renowned VDC Research Institute based on the vote of our customers,” says Kontron vice president Peter Müller. “Our customers can expect excellent expertise and support from us. With our modules and boards we provide next-generation performance, connectivity and security to support our customers’ long-term needs. We also offer comprehensive training, documentation, and engineering support to help OEMs bring innovative solutions to the market faster and more efficiently.”

The VDC Vendor Satisfaction Awards are based on the results of vendor satisfaction rates from VDC Research’s 2022 global IoT and Embedded Engineering and Development Survey. Respondents of the survey include more than 700 project/product management and sourcing decision makers such as CTOs, engineering and product managers, hardware engineers and software developers. The respondents were asked to rate only satisfaction with vendors from which they had purchased computing hardware for their most recent projects.

“Award winners such as Kontron have helped a wide variety of organisations recently through a period of rapid business and technological change,” says Dan Mandell, director at VDC Research. “To remain competitive and agile with evolving end-user requirements and macroeconomic challenges, it is critical for OEMs, system integrators and solution providers to have a strong hardware technology platform partner with rich domain expertise and value-added software and services.”
