Laidler Associates launches functional safety courses
Laidler Associates has expanded the training side of its business by recruiting Stewart Robinson, an experienced engineer with a background in control systems. In recent years he has specialised in functional safety, providing both verification and training services for machinery compliance, and it is this expertise that is helping Laidler Associates to expand its training services.
Robinson will be running the new functional safety courses, a one-day awareness course and a five-day University course alongside the current University course in European Machinery Safety Requirements.
Paul Laidler, the Business Director for Laidler Associates, comments: "Stewart brings with him a vast amount of knowledge and experience in functional safety. Due to the forthcoming standards changes, our customer base has a requirement for functional safety consultancy and training, and Stewart allows us to provide these services."
