Spaces are still available on a number of Murex Welding Products' 2010 City & Guilds Accredited Gas Equipment Inspectors training courses. These are now being managed by David Fell, a renowned authority in the gas welding market who for many years was the Marketing Manager for the Murex Saffire brand and has considerable experience in the industry.
The courses provide qualifications that permit individuals to conduct full safety checks on oxy-fuel gas welding systems. The two-day qualification courses are conducted at the company's headquarters in Waltham Cross, and residential accommodation is provided.
While the first part of the course covers theoretical instruction on oxy-fuel gas safety, the properties of gases, safe use and operation of systems, the second day focuses on practical training and 'hands-on' sessions that show candidates how to fully test an oxy-fuel gas station and pass it off for safe use.
