The Lenze i500 range of frequency inverters is now available through three stock partners in the North, Midlands and South West of England. The range features advanced drive technology, is particularly easy to use and has high performance with comprehensive functionality. Compact dimensions save panel space and smart parameterisation options reduce the programming time.
Distribution partners Transdrive of Oldham, Modern Drives & Controls of Leicester and The Inverter Drive Supermarket in Gloucestershire hold popular models of the i500 available for collection or immediate dispatch. Transdrive, who this year celebrate 35 years in business, are a distributor and stockist of industrial motors, gearboxes and drives. Modern Drives & Controls supply expertise in the control of motion. They are a specialist distributor of control gear, inverter drives and power transmission products. The Inverter Drive Supermarket is an Industrial Automation Distributor specialising in online sales.
Stocks of the i500 held by these partners include comms options such as CANopen and Modbus. The i500 inverters are easy to fit into available panel space as they are very compact, for example only 130mm deep up to a power of 11kW. Yet performance is high with 200 per cent of rated torque available and meets the energy efficiency regulation EN50598-2.
The i500 range is available from 0.25kW in two main versions. The i510 suits simpler applications such as pumps and fans. The i550 is a modular version giving flexibility up to 75kW. Here options include STO Safe Torque Off and real-time buses such as EtherCAT and PROFINET. All models have built-in EMC filters and application specific operating modes including Lenze VFCeco energy-saving operation.
The i500 design offers time-saving options for easy programming and diagnostics. A plug-on keypad uses clear text for display of parameters. A USB connection allows direct setting from a laptop. Where access is more difficult there are two options for programming without a physical connection. By plugging in a WLAN module, access is possible from either a laptop using free Easy Starter software, or using an Android smartphone with a free app.
Lenze's i500 range brings together all the best features that the market expects, together with the latest in communication technology. Availability for customers in a hurry is now offered across England. Go to www.lenze.com for more information.
