Mouser Electronics is now stocking the SP402x TVS Diode Arrays from Littelfuse. Designed to protect electronic devices from very fast and often damaging voltage transients such as lightning and electrostatic discharge (ESD), Littelfuse's SP402x series of TVS Diode Arrays (SPA silicon protection arrays) feature a high level of protection with very low capacitance, leakage current and clamp voltage. The devices are well suited for I/O interfaces and digital and analogue signal lines typically found in a variety of computer and portable electronic applications.
The Littelfuse SP402x TVS Diode Arrays can safely absorb up to 7A (SP4024), 12A (SP4023) and 15A (SP4022) of peak surge current per the IEC61000-4-5 International Standard (tp=8/20Î¼s) without performance degradation. Each device within the series can also absorb +/-30kV of repetitive ESD strikes at the maximum level (Level 4) specified in the IEC 61000-4-2 international standard. For electrical fast transient (EFT) ratings, the SP402x series is specified at 40A (5/50ns) per the EC61000-4-4 international standard. The low loading capacitance and high surge capabilities of the SP402x series make the devices suitable for protecting security equipment, instrumentation, medical equipment, computers and peripherals, telecommunication ports such as xDSL, and other high-voltage, high-speed legacy interfaces.
All TVS Diode Arrays within the SP402x series are single-channel devices, provide a low capacitance of 1.3pF, and offer both unidirectional and bidirectional polarity. The devices operate over -40degC to +125degC and are available through Mouser Electronics in a small SOD323 package.
Littelfuse's SP402x TVS Diode Arrays are all RoHS-compliant, and are AEC-Q101 qualified to AEC Q101 Stress Test Qualification for Automotive Grade Discrete Semiconductors.
