Lumileds' LUXEON XR-M for simplified industrial lighting
Mouser Electronics is now stocking LUXEON XR-M LED devices from Lumileds. These modular LED devices integrate three, four, or five LUXEON M LEDs on a metal core PCB, and can be connected in series or parallel, providing manufacturers with an easy-to-use option for outdoor and industrial lighting applications.
The Lumileds LUXEON XR-M modules are optimised for lighting applications that require high-power LED arrays mounted on a rigid and thermally conductive substrate. The integrated LUXEON M emitters deliver high flux density from a uniform source with tight correlated colour temperature control. Each LUXEON XR-M module provides 3300-5500 lm and is available in colour temperatures of 4000K, 5000K, and 5700K with a minimum CRI of 70. The LUXEON XR-M achieves excellent efficacy at the board level of 140 lm/W at 4000K
Designers can also combine LUXEON XR-M modules with standard lenses, lens plates, and drivers, enabling easy system integration and faster time to market. The modules are rated for a wide operating temperature range of -40 to +85degC, meeting performance requirements in a variety of environmental conditions and making them suitable for outdoor and wide area lighting applications such as streetlights, high/low bay luminaires, and stadium lighting.
