M Barnwell Services appointed as an SKF distributor for seals
SKF has appointed M Barnwell Services Ltd, a leading supplier of fluid sealing products, as a specialist distributor for its comprehensive range of seals. Barnwell now has access to SKF's entire seals portfolio; these products are currently being supported by Barnwell's Smethwick head office, as well as through its network of branches in Bellshill, Bristol, Dartford and Manchester.
SKF's close relationship with Barnwell means the new distributor can now offer the complete SKF range of seals as replacement components to its customers, alongside its current offering, which includes a seal making service, clean room, image branding and an inventory management service. SKF's proven range covers axial shaft seals, hydraulic seals, radial shaft seals, static seals and wear sleeves, providing high-performance sealing in a diverse range of applications - from steel and automotive through to food processing and pharmaceutical.
M Barnwell Services Ltd was founded in 1972 by the current chairman and managing director Michael Barnwell and now claims to be the UK's largest distributor of fluid sealing products, with a nationwide network of customer service centres.
