Phoenix Contact is extending its range of housing screw connections for two-piece SMD device connectors. The new M12 screw connections for rear snap-in mounting compensate process-related production tolerances between the PCB and housing for two-piece device ports. Users can therefore prevent force being applied to SMD soldering spots and combine the convenience of automatic soldering processes with the safety of defined device connections.
The housing screw connections for socket contact carriers are available for various panel thicknesses between 0.9mm and 3.0mm. They can be easily integrated into standard panel cut-outs and mounted with matching coloured fixing sleeves without using any tools.
