Phoenix Contact is extending its portfolio of M12 connectors for outdoor use with cabling for CANopen and DeviceNet applications.
The moulded M12 connectors use high-quality materials such as V4A stainless steel (1.4404), polypropylene plastics, and a special sealing concept. This design enables use in temperatures up to +105degC and ensures good resistance to high-pressure cleaning and sunlight (UV). The connectors are therefore designed for use outdoors under harsh conditions, e.g. on construction or agricultural machinery, on which CAN-based communication is used in particular.
This range includes fully shielded connectors in straight five-position pin or socket design with an FRNC DeviceNet cable. The cable sets are available in lengths of 2.5 or 10m; customer-specific lengths are available on request.
