M6 absolute pressure sensor with temperature probe from Kistler
The new M6 miniature absolute pressure sensor from Kistler Instruments incorporates a PT1000 temperature probe and integrated signal conditioning in a compact package weighing less than 12g. Available in three pressure ranges; 5, 10 and 20bar with temperature compensation up to 150degC and an exceptionally short body length of 24.4mm, the new sensor is suitable for challenging applications in very confined spaces. The Type 4080AT sensor meets the needs of any application for reliable monitoring of pressure and temperature in harsh operating conditions.
The high-precision, piezoresistive pressure module with a media separated measuring element allows the sensor to operate reliably with excellent measuring accuracy and signal quality. The integrated PT1000 probe allows dynamic temperature measurements in liquids at up to 200degC whilst the 4-wire concept with conditioned analogue 0-5V DC outputs for both pressure and temperature provides interface flexibility, reducing cable harness weight and smaller pin count on the connectors.
With its 5, 10 and 20bar pressure ranges, the Type 4080AT is suitable for universal use in many applications including fuel, oil and water pressure monitoring. The new Type 4080AT sensor is FIA-homologated and can be supplied in variants with a LEMO plug connector or a flylead cable.
