Anyone who uses AS-Interface or who is considering using this actuator/sensor networking technology would benefit from attending this free event. Comprising a seminar and a concurrent exhibition, ASi-tech 2007 gives attendees an opportunity to learn about the technology, hear how users have applied ASi, and see the latest products from a number of vendors.

Safety issues

For those with a particular interest in using ASi for safety applications (using ASi-Safe - also known as ASi Safety at Work), the seminar timetable includes a presentation from the HSE (Health and Safety Executive) and a session on integration with higher-level safety networks.

Companies that are taking part in the exhibition include: Bihl + Wiedemann; Controlled Lubrication; Fortress Interlocks; Kuhnke; LC Automation; MMU; Siemens; Sigmapi; and WAGO.
