Machinery Safety Alliance - seminar dates and venues 2012
The Machinery Safety Alliance has announced the first dates for its machinery safety seminars. These are to be held in locations around the UK as follows:
- 23 May 2012 - The National Space Centre, Leicester
- 27 June 2012 - Concorde Conference Centre, Manchester
- 5 September 2012 - At-Bristol, Bristol
These all-day events cover the machine's safety lifecycle, risk assessment and reduction (to EN ISO 12100), safety concepts and guarding (including safety distances in accordance with EN ISO 13857), and safety functions for electrical, electronic, electromechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic technologies (in accordance with EN ISO 13849-1 or EN 62061). In addition, two software packages for verifying the design of functional safety systems will be discussed, namely PAScal and Sistema, and there will be a presentation on the subject of validating safety-related control systems. CE marking will also be discussed.
Attendance at the seminars costs just 60, which includes food and drink throughout the day.
