The Machinery Safety Alliance has announced the dates and venues for the series of Machinery Safety Seminars that it is running during 2015:
As in previous years, the presentations will focus on machinery safety issues and will NOT be thinly-disguised sales pitches by the five members of the Machinery Safety Alliance, namely Festo, Fortress Interlocks, Pilz Automation Technology, Troax and Werma. Nevertheless, because of the in-depth expertise available, the presenters can not only give detailed coverage of the subject matter, but can also field questions that attendees bring with them on the day or that arise during the presentations and question-and-answer sessions. Attendees will also be eager to hear what Steve Shaw, a Principal Specialist Inspector from the UK Health and Safety Executive (HSE), says during his presentations.
Presentations are scheduled as follows:
There will also be breaks during the day to enable attendees to view the mini-exhibition, network with each other and the presenters, and visit the venue.
Anyone wishing to book one or more places on the seminars will appreciate the improvements that have been made to the website. First, multiple bookings can now be made by one person on behalf of teams wishing to attend. Second, the payment system has been made easier to use, with Stripe replacing the previous PayPal online payment system. In addition, invoices are now being generated, which will also benefit companies sending delegates.
