Maintenance-free urban bike is made from recycled plastics

Introducing the world’s first bicycle made from recycled plastic: a maintenance-free urban bike that is lubrication-free.

It can withstand any weather and is the result of the first collaboration between Igus and the Dutch bicycle manufacturer MTRL. The ball bearings in the wheel bearings, the plain bearings in the seat post, the brake levers, pedals and the entire transmission are made of high-performance plastics from Igus.
