Managed TSN switches for real-time-capable networks

See Phoenix Contact at MachineBuilding.Live, 4 October 2023, on stand 16

With the new firmware 3.20, new Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN) functions are available for the managed TSN switches from Phoenix Contact.

The FL SWITCH TSN 2300 industrial managed switches thus also support the CC-Link IE TSN profile. The CC-Link IE TSN specification combines Gigabit Ethernet bandwidth with the TSN feature set. The switches are Phoenix Contact’s first Ethernet switches for TSN and enable TSN on up to 16 Gigabit ports, making it possible to implement applications with precise time synchronization and high real-time requirements.

As with other Phoenix Contact switches, the comprehensive managed switch feature set allows the TSN switches to also be used in classic applications. Current network solutions can be easily migrated to modern TSN architectures.
