Mitsubishi Electric is partnering with other specialist suppliers to present a series of FREE Managing Risk and Performance workshops that will be held at locations across the UK during October and November 2009.
These practical workshops are being organised ahead of the December deadline for the new unified Machinery Directive and will look at the many implications of the new Directive and corresponding regulations. The Mitsubishi team, together with other presenters, will review the impact of the changes and how they will affect future business. In addition, the presenters will demonstrate how the essential requirements can be met using off-the-shelf automation products and systems.
Given the current economic climate, the workshops will also take the opportunity to look at ways to optimise performance in order to reduce costs and minimise product wastage. This important session focuses on the latest monitoring and control trends in industry, including how software and hardware work together to improve profitability in manufacturing.
Workshops are scheduled as follows:
Each workshop runs from 10:00 to 15:00 and includes complimentary lunch and refreshments. Attendees will receive an information pack that includes a copy of the MachineBuilding.net Guide to the New Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC.To book a place on one of the workshops, complete the form at www.roadshow.industryenews.co.uk.
